Hert of Falkreath: Greatest Hostess, Great Lover

As Langwen ate her sumptuous meal with relish, Hert continued to tell her story.

"-Lord Clavicus vile is a most powerful Daedra, and unlike His brother Molag Bal, he taught me to control and focus my savage thirst for blood and violence and to kill only when needed to advance my status. By killing off bandits, brigands, slavers...the scum of Nirn...I have come to be seen as a productive member of Skyrim society and as a true Nord. Since so much of Skyrim is heavily forested, my lumber mill provides me with all the income I need. Still my only regret is not being accepted at the College of Winterhold...much less at the Arcane University in the Imperial City. There is no fooling the mages about what I really am." Hert continued on as Langwen kept eating, feeling less and less hungry with each bite as Hert refilled their glasses with drink...the finest Nord meads and wines...some of them centuries old. And served on gold dishes, too...Hert was nothing if not a wonderful host. Hert's eyes, glowing like rubies and charcoal seemed to sadden and moisten as she said those last words...fighting mightily to suppress her tears.

She and Langwen looked into each other's eyes and Langwen knew that look of attraction very well. She knew that she herself had the same look in her Elven eyes...the colour of brandy...whenever a beautiful woman walked by. She was quite happy her Nord wife, Darena, wasn't here to see this. Darena...like all Nords, could be quite jealous and hot-blooded. After about an hour or so, Langwen realized that she had eaten her entire meal, leaving nothing the bare bones of a wild boar. Hert had simply fed herself by drinking a special alchemical solution called a Blood Potion which served to heighten her wits as it quenched and supressed her thirst.

After dinner came the desert, the finest pastries stuffed with apple and berry jams...even Langwen finally realized she had quite enough. Hert and Langwen finished the meal and topped it all of with a passionate kiss, as Hert felt herself warming up for the first time in many, many long years. The two of them went outside to catch the glimpse of the setting sun...and for the first time, Hert was saddened to see the rays of daylight slip away.

"-Goddess Dibella...I was a worshipper before...I was changed against my will...I still am...deep down in my heart. After I had achieved some control over my...cravings and cruelties...Dibella spoke to me. She told me to remain chaste and celibate and to expect a guest. An elderly Imperial woman arrived and knocked on my door, seeking food and shelter...Lilonia Cosasinia was her name. I could've killed and fed on her...dumped her in the woods...I chose not to. I chose to shelter and feed her...offered her my own bed as I slept in a bedroll on the floor. I could feel and smell good magic on her and then one day...she was even happier than usual after her prayers. She told me Dibella would call her soon to the after-life...she told me to wait for a Heroic Wood Elf...you...before passing away that very evening. She said she was proud of me...called me her daughter. After I buried her in the cemetery in Falkreath...I cried non-stop day and night for a month before Dibella spoke to me again. She told me you would be the one to make a full woman out of me at long last...general Langwen."
